Black XS by Paco Rabanne

Good morning / afternoon / evening to you all.

Today I'm going to be doing my first product review of a perfume I've been absolutely in love with.

The perfume that I just can't get enough of is called Black XS by a Spanish fashion designer called Paco Rabanne.  It comes in a cute, almost cerise shade of pink bottle with a black lid. That shade may be a little bit off so I'll just include a photo for you to decide on the shade for yourself. The bottle fits very comfortably in your hand, and it has a lid with a slightly, satisfying 'pop' when you take it off and click it back on.
Upon appearance I assumed this perfume to have a sort of musky smell as the packaging looks quite masculine, however, one must not judge a perfume by it's box. The smell is quite strong, so really only one spray is needed and it lasts a while. I just love the scent so much that I spray it a couple of times at once and also reapply it during the day, i'd say the scent probably lasts around 4 hours.

The scent of this perfume is actually quite pretty and sort of feminine (unlike the look of the box), smelling of a prominent hint of jasmine and vanilla, but also a touch of cashmere wood, hellebore rose and almost a sweet chocolate sort of smell.

I got this perfume from my uncle (who probably just thought that the black box with a pink rose looked cool), for christmas in 2014. Ever since, I request it for christmas each year because I just love it so much. I don't use it every day as I like to change my smell up a bit, and there's also other perfumes I love. So I find that a bottle of this only just lasts me a whole year. If I didn't spray it as much as I did, it would definitely last.

I definitely recommend this perfume if you're looking for something as described above. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but I'd say it's totally worth it as it smells a lot more expensive than just a perfume you can buy from your local pharmacy / chemist.

Yours truly,
whotheuckiseh?
xoxo
