That is the question. They're both very good products from Rimmel London.
Firstly, Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour powder foundation. I bought this product about a month ago, after having used Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder for a few years, I felt maybe I should branch out and try a new pressed powder.. yes I know I didn't branch out far with the brand, but it's still something slightly different. I got this powder in the shade 001 Light Porcelain, which I find to have a slight pink tinge to it which I dislike, but I can deal with it. The first thing that disappointed me was it has got less in it, with only 7.0g, and is also more expensive (I purchased it for $14.99 at Chemist Warehouse). I like that this product comes with it's own mirror, and sponge. However I don't use sponges for powder, I prefer a brush so I guess it's a bit of a waste for me personally. I am quite disappointed with the coverage of this powder, and I find that I have to apply a far amount to my brush in order for it to do anything. In a pervious post where I review the liquid foundation of this powder, I said that I use powder to lighten up the foundation I use, this product doesn't exactly do that for me because of the pink tinge and it's difficulty with application.
Now Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder, I get this powder in the shade 001 Transparent and I am 100% satisfied with this shade. As I said above I have been using this product for a few years now, in actually fact, I've been using it ever since I first started wearing make up. I chose this product due to it's reasonable price of $9.99 (at chemist warehouse). Unlike the product above, this contains more powder, doubling the other product with 14g. So you get more for a better price which is already a thumbs up. I am incredibly impressed with this powder, with it's great coverage of acne spots and elimination of lines on my face. I honestly can not rave more about this product, it is really an 11/10 kind of powder, especially for a product you can pick up from your local chemist / pharmacy. I highly recommend this product to everyone, and would hands down chose it over the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour powder foundation.
