Rimmel London Lasting Finish Foundation
I decided to trial this foundation about a month ago, as I was feeling like I needed a change from the one I was using. I got this foundation in the shade 100 Ivory, which I find to be slightly too dark for my skin but with the mix between this and a lighter pressed powder I find it does the job. I am prone to having sensitive skin, especially on my face, and this foundation doesn't irritate that at all, so I would recommend for those of you who have sensitive skin. I also find that this foundation has an over all great coverage and hides majority of my acne spots, in saying that I do have to spend a bit of time to achieve the great coverage. As well as this, the foundation doesn't settle into pores or fine lines which is great as I do tend to get lines from smiling above my lips, but that is very minimal with this foundation, which I am very impressed with. It states that this foundation lasts up to 25 hours, which personally I haven't tested out as I usually take my make up off before going to sleep, however, when I apply this foundation at 7 in the morning, it is still going strong by 11 at night. So what 16 hours? I have complete confidence this would last another few hours and possibly live up to its expected '25 hours'.
My only criticism I could think of about this foundation is it can tend to look a little heavy up close (I guess that would probably depend on the way you apply it), and it has a limited colour range of only six different shades, which is annoying for me as the shade I have is slightly too dark and the shade before is far too light.
Overall great foundation, especially for a product you can pick up from a chemist / pharmacy for under $20.
